 WELCOME TO OUR 2024 AKAUSHI PRODUCTION SALE There are lots of good news all around the Akaushi business, if you just look for it. The breed has some growing plains for sure. But what new business doesn’t? More thoughts on page 23. Our philosophy is it takes both growth and quality grade for our breed to thrive in an industry that has lots of options. We are featuring the offspring of two proven foundation herd sires. First is a Rueshaw 430 son, HR Rhubarb, also HB H5070S, a Hikari son. We used those two sires early and often in our ET program. Both sires are out of Big Al daughters. A new sire line Heartbrand B4183S has been added for 2024, with 14 offspring being offered. B4183S is a double bred Akiko 354B. Just love this cow to influence the maternal characteristics in our program. If there is anything we can do to help with your next investment in making your cows and banker happy, let us know.
